{"id":1625,"date":"2018-05-22T07:43:42","date_gmt":"2018-05-22T07:43:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.courtmarriage.net\/blog\/?p=1625"},"modified":"2018-05-22T07:52:12","modified_gmt":"2018-05-22T07:52:12","slug":"intercaste-marriage-office-delhi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.courtmarriage.net\/blog\/index.php\/2018\/05\/22\/intercaste-marriage-office-delhi\/","title":{"rendered":"Intercaste Marriage Office Delhi 09818476605"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Intercaste Marriage Office Delhi<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>Special Marriage Act, 1954<\/b>\u00a0is an\u00a0Act\u00a0of the\u00a0Parliament of India\u00a0enacted to provide a special form of marriage for the people of India and all Indian nationals in foreign countries, irrespective of the religion or faith followed by either party.<sup id=\"cite_ref-1\" class=\"reference\">[1]<\/sup>\u00a0The Act originated from a piece of legislation proposed during the late 19th century.<\/p>\n<p>In 1872 Act III, 1872 was enacted but later it was found inadequate for certain desired reforms, and Parliament enacted a new legislation.\u00a0Henry Sumner Maine\u00a0first introduced Act III of 1872, which would permit any dissenters to marry whomever they chose under a new civil marriage law. In the final wording, the law sought to legitimize marriages for those willing to renounce their profession of faith altogether (&#8220;I do not profess the Hindu, Christian, Jewish, etc. religion&#8221;). It can apply in\u00a0inter-caste\u00a0and\u00a0inter-religion\u00a0marriages.<sup id=\"cite_ref-2\" class=\"reference\">[2]<\/sup>\u00a0Overall, the response from local governments and administrators was that they were unanimously opposed to Maine\u2019s Bill and believed the legislation encouraged marriages based on lust, which would inevitably lead to immorality.<sup id=\"cite_ref-3\" class=\"reference\">[3]<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>Special Marriage Act, 1954<\/b>\u00a0replaced the old Act III, 1872.
